SOLD & ART

I sold the car via eBay to Janice for 270 Bucks!!! I guess, for both of us a good deal - the car is still running. Drive safe Janice and don´t forget to take marker with you. I am sure the people will ask you to draw on the car - and also you will get a lot of smiles during the traffic.

In the early beginning of this project colleagues, friends and random people thought I am crazy (maybe I am...), but now they saw the goal and the result of this idea and they like it as well.

Before I gave the car to the new owner, I took some "Part Pictures" of the graffiti art - have a look!

From tuesday night in down town

In the beginning I asked people to draw... The car is now full of nice drawings- if I park my car and will leave it, people stop me and ask me for markers. I like that - so I got on Tuesday night nice drawings in the king street and also yesterday in West Ashley.

I would like to transport the idea - so many people have old cars arround the world, if you will never sell your car and you like colours - what keep you away to draw on the car?

So how can I transfer the idea? First step: YOU - Forward this idea / link to your friends - maybe you know somebody who have a perfect car for this project? Get smiles & make the world more colorful!

Second step: T-Shirts. I met my friend Megan and we worked something out - have a look to the final result. If you want a shirt, send me an email!! Prices will be arround 7 Dollar. It is a white shirt, drawing on the front. If availible I will post it here!!

It was time again...

Wednesday is normally not a good day to ask people to draw on the car. Nobody is down town... but I am a little bit addicted and hadn´t a lot of time the last 10 days. So I went down town and parked my car the first 30 minutes at the King Street,

there I met this friendly couple, he drew, with her I talked and I got an Canadian Dollar :-)

The first 20 minutes in the Market Street it was very quite, but if someone start, other people are not so shy and jump over they own personal boarder and drew on my car as well.

My favore picture of this time: Mum is drawing, father and son are waiting- Do you see the meaningful look of the child?!!! :-)

Finally I was hungry and went to Starbucks in the Coulhoun, waow, direct parking lot infront of starbucks!! So at 9.30 pm on the Calhoun street, students drew on the car. From Draw on a Wednesday

On Saturday night, my way home, I must fill up oil in the car, so I wait 45 min until the engine was cold at a gas station in down town. What should I do in this time? I took out my markers and drew self on my car. People saw that and want to do it as well. Because of the storm Hanna the gas was sold out, so they couldn´t get gas, but they could be creative. They drew on my car and we all had a lot of fun.

Students car draw day

Today, Sunday the 24th August, I parked my car at the Calhoun Street. Direct in front of the Charleston College Book Store. So there were a lot of students, which had have fun to draw on my car. Unfortunaly were they same as me bankruptcy - but it is not all about the money :-)

The car is now so painted, that the drawer must search for a good place - but they are creative and find space: On and over the tires~

I don´t know what they read, but it broughts them to a smile :-)

2008_08_24 draw on me the 6th

That was fun! - glas drawings - 36 Dollar

Today I parked my car at the King Street, Concord Street and the East Bay.

The weather makes me a little bit sick here, so large humidity. So I decided to rest on a park bench and left the king street.
Luckily I got a parking place in range, so I could watch the reaction by the people, got a nice breeze, could read a book and enjoyed a nap: perfect!

As I came back, I got nice drawings on my car and 9 Dollar, unfortunaly I will delete some drawings on the glas- The car is still running and I need the windshield for me :-)








Is it a girl or a man who wants to marry (me?) ? I am sorry, but I am not availible - Should I publish your phone numbers? :-)









Political, religious, way of life, music favores, sport clubs, drawings - the people draw from all a little bit and I like it. If somebody think the opposite, he can "modify" the statement. For example, "GOD IS THE WAY" changed to "GOD IS maybe THE WAY".







People read something and their creativity isn´t equal to a second before... I like that!






So I reached the break even point!! I paid for 12 markers, an internet page forwarding and a bottle liquid for the glas draw removement total round about 40 Dollar.

Chicago? ~ piggy bank is opened

I visited New York and would like to visit Chicago as well, but no money and no vacation availible. Suddenly I saw, that the 1.September is a holiday - result: only money is missing - So I decided to ask this time for the 2 Dollars - it works and was a really nice day! I met many friendly people, got nice conversations, a lot of smiles and also nice drawings!

On the left, my first 2 Dollars. I locked my car and went to Starbucks - came back and somebody followed the instuctions and throw 2 Dollars in the little gap between window and car.

One of the youngest drawer - hopefully he got not so much fun, that he will do that on his fathers car as well...

Katherine - she loves boats - her friend Steve was so nice and sent me some of his pictures and invite me to lunch. Thank you!!!

Mika, a 6 pound rock star couldn´t enter a Starbucks, so his mistress Olivia gave him to me and I grow up to a dog sitter for a few minutes. Back with a coffee she found time to drew on my car.














The world is small- on the left you see Matt, he asked me:" Did you stay yesterday at the Village Tavern?" - Yes, I enjoyed the live music there as well. - I thought I must look a little bit like a alien, if people recognize me without to have a conversation before. But Europe is a different World to the U.S., so it could be :-)

She walked at the sidewalk and was busy with a phone call, stopped and said to the dialog partner: Oh my god - break- do you know what I see now, a car where you can....
Unfortunally she havn´t time to be creative, but she smiled and transfered the "important" information to XY!





He grows up in Chicago and explained me, that the wind is there very nice and also the reason therefore, that he lose so much hair ;-)
